I’ve heard rumors that if you freeze a flower; in my case I want to freeze a rose; it will last longer and you’ll be able to keep it if it stays frozen? My boyfriend brought me Roses yestorday and I want to keep one when they all die.
I was just wondering if anyone has ever done this, and what exactly does it do?

Freezing any sort of flowers will make it turn brown and mushy when you take it out.
    You either..
    1. air dry them by hanging them in an upside down position in a cool and dark place. Use a rose that is not past its prime for better results.
    OR
    2. Go to a flower preservation florist to have it professionally done. This will cost you more that the flowers itself. Better to buy yourself a fresh rose.

Not freezing in the traditional sense, but there is a chemical in which they can be professionally preserved. I believe it involves using liquid nitrogen, which could seriously hurt your skin if you do it yourself,
